Grinspoon 30th anniversary celebration

• 30th anniversary celebration — national tour marking 30 years since the band formed in 1995, spanning three decades of hits from Guide to Better Living through to their 2024 album Whatever, Whatever.
• Held at the open-air Red Hill Auditorium amphitheatre with skyline views over Perth.
• Stacked Australian rock lineup, co-headlined on the night by 90s alt-rock legends Regurgitator, along with Adelaide rockers BAD//DREEMS.

Dreamin' Of Nashville

• 8:00 PM.
• A high-energy tour show celebrating the iconic sound of Nashville, spanning country classics, modern radio hits, and boot-scootin' anthems.
• Drew a solid Thursday night crowd into The Prince for a night of live fiddle, steel guitar, and big singalongs.

Hot Chip (DJ Set - Alexis Taylor & Joe Goddard)

• 9:00 PM.
• Served as the official opening night of Hot Chip's 2024/2025 New Year's Australian DJ Tour before heading to Perth's Ice Cream Factory on New Year's Eve.
• Brought world-renowned electronic hitmakers ("Over and Over", "Ready for the Floor") into Froth's intimate brewery setting for a high-energy, dance-heavy late-night set.

Regurgitator

• Hotter Than Hell Festival 2024, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
• Kicked off the national Hotter Than Hell festival run right in Dunsborough before moving across Victoria, South Australia, and Queensland.
• Featured 90s alt-rock royalty Regurgitator and Jebediah, alongside US punk legends Unwritten Law and local indie icons Little Birdy.
• Classic tavern beer garden atmosphere — outdoor, single-day nostalgia festival drawing a massive South West crowd for an afternoon and evening of throwbacks and classic rock hits.

Regurgitator

• Sold out Freo.Social as part of back-to-back Perth shows (having played The Rosemount Hotel in North Perth the previous night).
• High-energy setlist packed with new tracks alongside iconic 90s/2000s anthems like "Polyester Girl", "!! (The Song Formerly Known As)", and "Black Bugs".

Nyamaha Rock Band

• JPOP Night at Froth - South West Japan Festival, 8:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
• Part of the official South West Japan Festival lineup celebrating Japanese art, music, and culture.
• Perth-based J-Rock tribute act Nyamaha headlined the night with a setlist packed with J-Pop classics, anime openings, and high-octane Japanese rock covers.
• Free event that brought a huge crowd into Froth for a free-entry celebration of Japanese music culture.

Jebediah

• Brought two of Perth's biggest late-90s/2000s indie-rock exports together on stage down in Margs.
• Jebediah ripped through signature hits like "Leaving Home", "Harpoon", "Teflon", and "Animal", while End of Fashion showcased classics like "O Yeah" alongside newer material.

End of Fashion

• Played a live headline show at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Bunbury as part of their early-2022 Western Australia regional appearances.
• Featured fan-favourite tracks and ARIA-charting hits including "O Yeah", "The Game", and "Rough Diamonds".

You Am I

• Intimate pub show ahead of 'By The C': played a headline warm-up gig at the Prince of Wales in Bunbury just two days prior to performing at the massive By The C festival alongside Icehouse and Pete Murray at City Beach Oval on Saturday, 27 March 2021.
• New record era: performed right as they were rolling out new material (including lead single "The Waterboy") ahead of their 11th studio album The Lives of Others, alongside classic anthems like "Berlin Chair", "Heavy Heart", and "Cathy's Clown".

Gyroscope

• One of the rare regional WA pub gigs during the 2020 pandemic era, taking advantage of Western Australia's strict state border controls and relaxed local venue capacity rules to tour regional WA venues.
• Hit-packed setlist featuring fan favourites like "Snakeskin", "Fast Girl", "Baby, I'm Gettin' Better", and "Doctor Doctor".

Everclear

• Hotter Than Hell Festival - Chapter 3, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
• Marked the third annual iteration of the Hotter Than Hell touring festival series, and served as one of the final major outdoor rock festivals to successfully run in regional WA before COVID-19 border closures and event restrictions shut down national touring in March 2020.
• Highlighted rare regional WA appearances for American alt-rock giants Everclear ("Santa Monica", "Father of Mine") and Unwritten Law ("Cailin", "Up All Night").
• The festival skipped 2021 due to nationwide COVID-19 border closures and event restrictions, before returning to the Dunsborough Tavern on 12 October 2024.

Sugarloaf Rock Festival, inaugural 2020 edition

• Sugarloaf Rock Festival, inaugural 2020 edition.
• Launched by Macro Music (the team behind Here Comes The Sun and Good Day Sunshine) specifically to cater to a heavier, riff-driven rock crowd in the South West.
• Like many festivals during 2020-2021, state border restrictions and COVID-19 event limits prevented the festival from returning for a 2021 installment.

Hunters & Collectors

• Red Hot Summer Tour 2020.
• Marked the 10th anniversary of the Red Hot Summer Tour with a massive, all-Aussie rock bill.
• Headlined by ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Hunters & Collectors, who reformed specifically for this nationwide tour.
• Snuck in right at the start of 2020, serving as one of the last major outdoor music festivals held in Western Australia prior to the arrival of COVID-19 border closures and event restrictions later that summer.

Something for Kate

• Paul Dempsey, Stephanie Ashworth, and Clint Hyndman played a rare, up-close venue show that packed out Badlands' indoor main stage.
• Massive 19-song setlist including fan favorites like "Captain (Million Miles an Hour)", "Monsters", "Electricity", "Deja Vu", and Dempsey's popular solo acoustic covers.
• Perth's own '90s heroes Adam Said Galore joined them on the bill, reuniting for the night and making it a double header for local alternative rock fans.

Cosmic Psychos 'Loudmouth Soup' Tour 2018

• 'Loudmouth Soup' Tour 2018.
• The Chats were touring national support on this run right as "Smoko" was blowing up (having just exploded globally at the end of 2017), prompting Cosmic Psychos to take them out on their nationwide tour — but for the Bunbury / WA leg, local legends The Southern River Band and Dennis Cometti stepped into the support slots instead.

Jebediah

• 'TWENTY' 20th Anniversary Tour, night 2 of 3 sold-out homecoming shows.
• Jebediah famously shot their 1997 music video for "Military Strongmen" inside the Astor Theatre's auditorium.
• Two-set format: Set 1 was a career-spanning mix of hits ("Star Machine", "Fall Down", "She's Like A Comet"), Set 2 was their 1997 debut album Slightly Odway played cover-to-cover ("Leaving Home", "Harpoon", "Teflon", "Military Strongmen").
• Celebrated 20 years since Kevin Mitchell, Chris Daymond, Vanessa Thornton, and Brett Mitchell formed the band at Leeming High School back in 1995.

New Year's Eve Party

• New Year's Eve Party.
• Jebediah headlined the Dunsborough Tavern's flagship NYE show, drawing a massive holiday crowd in the South West.
• Classic setlist heavy on their late 90s and early 2000s anthems including "Leaving Home", "Harpoon", "Teflon", "Animal", and "Fall Down".
• Immediately after ringing in the New Year in WA, the band flew out to New South Wales to continue their summer show run on the East Coast.

• Marked a massive relaunch for the Big Day Out after American festival giant C3 Presents (the masterminds behind Lollapalooza) took a 50% stake, injecting fresh energy into the production, stage layouts, and lineup curation after a slightly turbulent 2012.
• Red Hot Chili Peppers closed out the main stage with a career-spanning hits set, marking their first return to Perth's BDO since their iconic 2000 headlining run.
• Eclectic under-card featured a phenomenal mid-tier lineup capturing the indie and electronic landscape of the early 2010s, including a massive main stage set from The Killers, breakthrough performances from Alabama Shakes, and a high-energy rap set from Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) in the midst of his rising musical career.

The Butterfly Effect 'Effected' Farewell Tour

• 'Effected' Farewell Tour — the farewell run with original lead singer Clint Boge following his decision to depart the band, marking what was thought at the time to be his final run of shows with the group.
• Accompanied by the release of their career-spanning compilation album Effected, featuring classic tracks like "Crave", "A Beautiful Lie", "Reach", "Phoenix", and "Always".
• After the Bunbury pub show, the band headed straight to Perth to perform at Metro City the following evening, Sunday 3 June 2012.

Foo Fighters 'Wasting Light' World Tour

• 'Wasting Light' World Tour.
• Officially kicked off the Foo Fighters' massive 2011 Australian & New Zealand stadium tour supporting their hit album Wasting Light.
• Over 30,000 fans packed into nib Stadium for what was widely praised as one of the best stadium rock shows of the year.
• Jack Black joined Dave Grohl on stage during the encore to sing a laid-back cover of Tom Petty's "Breakdown".
• Setlist: "Bridge Burning", "Rope", "The Pretender", "My Hero", "Walk", "Monkey Wrench", "All My Life", encore acoustic solo versions of "Wheels" and "Best of You", closing with "Everlong" as rain began to fall.

Big Day Out 2011

• The Vines were added to the festival in the final lineup announcement, making a welcome return to the Big Day Out after a canceled slot in 2009 — they famously kicked off the main arena as the very first act of the day to set the tone.
• An estimated 37,000 punters packed into the Claremont Showgrounds for one of the most memorable and heavy-leaning festival lineups in Perth's BDO history.
• The day featured Rammstein's trademark massive pyrotechnics and flamethrowers, Tool's immersive visual screens, and explosive sets from international heavyweights alongside a strong homegrown Aussie rock contingent.

• One of the most anticipated and explosive festival headlining slots in BDO history, marking RATM's monumental reunion tour and drawing an intensely hyped crowd that packed tightly against the main stage.
