I was diagnosed AuDHD a few years ago. Late. It explained a lot. The way I experience the world at full volume β beautiful things almost unbearably beautiful, difficult things genuinely difficult. The way Iβve always needed nature and quiet to function. The way certain things light up my brain completely and others cost everything.
Japan has a word for sunlight through leaves β ζ¨ζΌγζ₯. A philosophy of beauty in imperfection β δΎγ³ε―γ³. A concept of each meeting being unrepeatable β δΈζδΈδΌ. I didnβt know these words when I started being drawn to Japan. But they describe things Iβd been feeling my whole life without language for them.
Now I want to go back and actually see it
